Moyer and Sheppard Win Eldora World 100 Twin 25s

Story and photo by Patrick Reynolds Rossburg OH- Billy Moyer and Brandon Sheppard won their respective Twin 25-lap A-Mains in Eldora Speedway’s World 100 preliminary action that was postponed from Friday night to Saturday afternoon. In the first A-Main, Jon Henry grabbed the lead ahead of pole sitter Moyer from his front row starting position. The caution flew quickly with one lap complete for dual spins by Josh Richards and Kent Robinson in turn four. McDowell & Sheppard Win Eldora World 100 Prelims

Story and photo by Patrick Reynolds Rossburg, OH- Dale McDowell and Brandon Sheppard won the Twin 25-lap A-Mains on Thursday’s preliminary night for the 45th running of the World 100 at Eldora Speedway. RJ Conley charged from the second starting position to lead at the drop of the green flag in the first A-Main. He was challenged in the opening circuits by four-time World 100 winner Scott Bloomquist. Fourth starting McDowell went by Bloomquist first, and then Conley to take the lead on lap five. Eldora World 100 Night Two Postponed

Story and photo by Patrick Reynolds Rossburg OH- Friday’s second preliminary night of racing for the World 100 at Eldora Speedway has been postponed. Afternoon rain forced a delay in track preparation and eventual cooler evening temperatures prevented the dirt surface from becoming suitable for racing. The Eldora track crew put forth a lengthy effort in order to run in the track, but weather conditions would not allow the speedway to accept the Late Models on a competitive and safe surface. An IMSA Race Through NASCAR Eyes

MAVTV 500: Risky or Good for Indycar?
